AI Engineer, New Products
Build and ship AI healthcare products from idea to MVP in days - own the full stack, move fast, and shape tools that improve clinical workflows across Latin America.
We usually respond within a day
About the Role
We are looking for a highly autonomous, IC-hungry builder to join a healthtech startup as a 0→1 New Products Engineer. This role exists to rapidly prototype, validate, and build MVPs for new product bets, turning vague ideas into real signals in days, not months.
You will own new product initiatives end to end, from ambiguous concept to shipped prototype, making fast go or no-go decisions and scaling what works. If you thrive in high-velocity environments, use AI coding tools daily, and have a genuine obsession for building products that matter, this is your opportunity.
What You Will Do
Own 0→1 product bets from idea to shipped MVP, and kill early when signals say so
Build end to end without handoffs: backend, AI layer, frontend, and deployment
Rapidly prototype and validate new features in days using Python and modern AI tools
Work invisibly inside clinical workflows to build AI Healthcare Employees
Make architectural and product decisions with extreme ownership and bias to action
Integrate AI coding tools into your daily workflow to maximize leverage
What You Will Bring
Track record of owning 0→1 products from idea to shipped (founding roles or early-stage startup tenure strongly preferred)
Full-stack technical range with strong Python and AI layer experience
Located in Latin America: Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, or Chile
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Extreme bias to action and comfort with ambiguity
Portfolio or GitHub showing shipped work you are proud of
Bonus Points For
Healthcare or clinical domain experience
Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil
Prior experience in fast-paced, high-ambition LatAm scale-ups (Nubank, Rappi, Kavak, Loggi, and others)
Y Combinator or similar accelerator alumni
Experience with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, and others) as daily drivers
What Will Not Be a Fit
Recent management, director, or purely team-lead experience (this is a hands-on IC role)
Background primarily in slow-moving enterprise environments where engineers do not own the full product lifecycle
Preference for well-defined requirements over ambiguous, fast-moving problem spaces
Why Join?
Work on AI products that directly impact healthcare delivery and clinical workflows
Extreme ownership: you decide what to build, how to build it, and when to kill it
High-velocity environment with rapid iteration and real-world impact
Competitive salary ($100K - $140K) with equity upside
Remote-first across Latin America
