Full-Stack Product Engineer (m/f/d)

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Product Engineer (3+ years professional experience for the regular role, 5+ years for Senior) to build and operate our patient platform and internal tools in a hybrid team based in Munich.
This is not a remote-only position. We work hybrid: 2–3 home office days per week, presence at our Munich office on the remaining days.
Your Responsibilities
- End-to-end development and operation of frontend, backend, APIs, and system integrations – from idea to monitoring
- Translate medical and operational requirements into clear product and feature concepts, working closely with Product and domain experts
- Implement and integrate AI-powered features, decision support tools, and data products
- Own the full feature lifecycle: discovery, architecture, implementation, rollout, monitoring, and iterative improvement
- Ensure reliability, security, and data privacy in a healthcare context
- Prioritize by business impact – no over-engineering culture
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of professional software development (5+ for Senior)
- Strong hands-on experience in several of: React / React Native, TypeScript, Python, Django, Kubernetes
- Practical AI/ML experience – LLMs, RAG architectures, not buzzword-level familiarity
- German at C1 level (fluent) – the team and medical domain experts communicate in German
- English at B2 level – sufficient for technical documentation and code comments
- Strong product and business mindset with startup ownership mentality
- Pragmatic approach: shipped and working beats perfect and never released
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with encryption, data privacy, and compliance (health data)
- Prior work in healthcare
