International E-Commerce Data Analyst
Senior International E‑Commerce Data Analyst: define KPI frameworks, own data pipelines, and deliver data‑driven insights that steer growth across Europe and Latin America.
We usually respond within a day
A Beijing-headquartered Chinese internet company (1,000–4,999 employees) is aggressively expanding its international e-commerce operations across Europe and Latin America. Already a dominant force in domestic markets, the company is now building the data infrastructure that will power its global growth — and it needs exceptional analytical talent to make that happen.
This is one of the most consequential expansions happening in global e-commerce right now.
The Role
You will be embedded in a local market team — London, São Paulo, or Mexico City — as a senior individual contributor on the international data analytics team. Your work will sit at the intersection of business strategy and data engineering: you will not just report numbers, you will define what numbers matter and why.
From designing KPI frameworks to tracking merchant ecosystems, from cold-start growth analytics to content community performance, you will be the analytical backbone of a market that is scaling fast and needs rigorous intelligence to guide every decision.
This role is conducted entirely in Chinese and English. Both languages are working languages. Candidates who are not fluent in both will not be considered.
What You Will Do
Data Framework and KPI Design
Translate complex e-commerce business logic into structured, actionable KPI systems and analytical frameworks
Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines that track platform health across merchant, product, and content dimensions
Build and own dashboards using at least one professional visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Superset, or equivalent)
Business Monitoring and Insight Generation
Monitor ongoing business performance across your assigned market, surfacing anomalies and opportunities in real time
Produce regular analytical reports for local and HQ leadership, combining quantitative rigor with clear business narrative
Support cold-start and growth strategy initiatives with data-driven recommendations and tracking mechanisms
Ecosystem Analytics
Track and analyze merchant ecosystem health, product performance trends, and content community engagement metrics
Identify levers for growth and retention within the local market and benchmark against global platform patterns
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with local market teams, product teams, and HQ data teams to align analytical priorities with business goals
Coordinate across time zones between your local market and Beijing headquarters

Skilled in at least one data visualization tool

Exceptional logical thinker who bridges the gap between raw data and business clarity
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
Collaborative team player with solid organizational and coordination skills
Comfortable and willing to relocate internationally to the UK, Brazil, or Mexico
Career Perspective
This is a senior IC role with real strategic visibility. As the company's international operations scale across multiple regions, high performers will have a clear path into data team lead positions with broader regional scope.
