You'll design and build workflow automation systems using BPMN/DMN/CMMN modeling, integrate them with other services, and keep them running reliably in production. You'll also talk to non-technical stakeholders regularly, so clear communication matters as much as clean code.

Day to day, you'll be:

• Building and maintaining Java-based microservices that power automated workflows

• Modeling business processes using BPMN 2.0, DMN, and CMMN

• Creating custom workers, connectors, and plugins to meet integration needs

• Working with REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and external task handling

• Debugging and tuning workflow performance in live environments

• Collaborating with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into working solutions

• Managing deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, maintaining CI/CD pipelines

You'll need:

• 3+ years of Java development experience (Java 8+)

• Practical experience with a BPM or workflow platform (Camunda, Temporal, or similar)

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture

• Experience with PostgreSQL or MS SQL (MongoDB is a bonus)

• Familiarity with scripting languages like Groovy, JavaScript, or FEEL

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

• Confidence communicating technical concepts to non-technical people
