What you do
Run and maintain high‑availability Linux server environments (Debian, CentOS, RHEL) for customers.
Set up, configure, and operate MySQL databases including clustering and replication.
Deploy, configure, and update web stacks with Nginx, Apache, Tomcat and related tools (e.g. Varnish).
Automate recurring tasks using tools like Puppet/Ansible and shell scripting.
Monitor systems, handle incidents, and optimize performance and reliability.
What you should know
3-5 years of experience in System Engineering
Very strong Linux admin skills on Debian, CentOS and RHEL, mainly via command line.
Solid MySQL administration: installation, tuning, backup/restore, clustering, replication.
Confident working with Nginx and Tomcat in production, including virtual hosts, SSL, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of DNS, mail services and general hosting infrastructure.
German at C1 level (spoken and written) is required.

In a small Linux team (~7 people) in a managed hosting environment.
Hybrid: roughly half remote, half on‑site in Frankfurt, with flexible core hours.
High autonomy, direct communication, and strong focus on practical, hands‑on engineering.
